12 weeks!

I had such a fun week off work with Chapman. We relaxed, ran a lot of errands, and got to play outside a little bit too! We also had a GREAT weekend! Jason played in the Rites of Spring golf tournament at MCC and Chapman and I had a lot of fun eating lunch with Daddy before he played and going to the parties at night! Chapman also slept through the night Friday and Saturday nights and Mama and Daddy got a lot of much needed sleep! We spent most of the weekend at the golf tournament and taking naps! What a wonderful weekend! Oh, and I have to brag on Jason (even though he will get mad at me).....He and Rick McBride won the Rites of Spring tournament! Chapman and I are so proud of them! Below are some pictures from this weekend. Hope you enjoy!

11 weeks and growing...

Well, a lot has changed since I last updated the blog. I made it through tax season and am now enjoying 2 weeks off, staying at home with Chapman! It is so amazing how fast he has grown. I was just looking back at the pictures of Chapman on my last update and he has changed so much! We went to his 8 week checkup (about 3 weeks ago) and he weighed 14 pounds! We weighed him last weekend at the lake and he weighed between 15.5 and 16 pounds....at 11 weeks! He is a chunk and it is so cute! He has started smiling and wants to "talk" all the time! He also LOVES bath time! I can't wait until the lake warms up and he can get in the water. He is going to enjoy every minute of swimming in the "big bath tub"!

Chapman went to his first church service when Rylee (our niece) was baptized and he did great. Of course I was a nervous wreck because we were sitting front and center. He went to Easter the next weekend and was a perfect little boy again!

Jason and I are having the best time as parents and feel so blessed to have such a wonderful son! We love every minute we get to spend with him and are just so in love with him. Everyone always says it is so amazing how a child can change your life, but there is no way you can actually understand what they mean until you experience it. We thank God everyday for our precious angel!

I posted some recent pictures of Chapman below! Hope you enjoy!

Deep thoughts!
