Chapman's first baby shower was today, December 5th, at the CPA firm where I work, Aldridge, Borden & Company. Of course, the individuals completely outdid themselves as usual. Jason and I are overwhelmed at the generosity of the people at my firm. Not only did we receive a TON of our large gift items, we also got everything from clothes and hooded towels to bath toys and a Bebe Pod. We cannot thank my firm enough for all they have done for Jason, Chapman, and me. Look at all the items we were given at our shower: Pack n' Play, Baby Einstein Jumper, Cradle In Comfort (or as Jason likes to call it, Chapman's recliner), Activity mat, Boppy, Frog bath toy scoop, Bebe Pod, Diaper Genie, Gund Teddy Bear that tells 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (that was from Mama and Daddy, or I guess that would be Grandmama and Granddaddy, and is actually for next year), Monogrammed onesies and two outfits, a Feltman Brother's bubble, a frog hooded towel, and a Target gift card. As I list these items, I again realize how wonderful the people are at Aldridge, Borden & Company. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful place to work and such generous people to be surrounded by. My favorite was definitely the frog. I am not sure why. Maybe I should get one for myself??
