We went to the doctor yesterday and he said that although I have not dilated, my cervix has thinned out and that he expects I will start dilating soon! He said that he doesn't think that I will have Chapman this week or weekend (he said he really likes his Mama...haha!). Dr. Garrard said that if he doesn't come by February 2nd (a week from Monday), we will induce that morning. Depending on whether I have dilated at my next appointment (Tuesday, January 27th), I will either go in on Sunday night or Monday morning around 5:00 a.m. Dr. Garrard also said that he still expects Chapman to weigh around 7 pounds when he is born (PERFECT size for me)!!!!
Jason and I are both really excited and can't wait to meet little Chapman. Jason was so cute yesterday when Dr. Garrard said, "Well, let's just go ahead and make an appointment at the hospital....how does 2/2/09 for a birthday sound?" Jason's eyes got really big and I think it really started to hit him! He will be the BEST daddy!!!
Of course Bogie is getting really excited too....he has his "I'm the Big Brother" collar ready and waiting! And no, I am not kidding!
Well, please be praying for Jason, Chapman, and me and for a safe delivery and healthy child. We are so blessed to be experiencing this wonderful event and can't thank our family and friends enough for all the prayers, thoughts, and gifts. We wouldn't be able to make it through without all of you! I will try to update again next week, unless Chapman decides to arrive before then!

We have made it to 38 weeks.....
Well, we have made it to 38 weeks (well, almost...we will be there on Tuesday)! We went to the doctor last Monday (at 37 weeks) and he said that I had not started dilating and that Chapman was not coming this week or weekend. I will go back on Tuesday for my next visit and we will see if I have progressed at all! I am still feeling good and still able to sleep (although I get up about 5 times a night to use the potty), so that is a huge plus right now!I have not added my 8 or 9 month prego pics, so I will do that at the bottom of this blog. I also will add a couple more pictures from The Robinson family shower (my Mama's side of the family)! This shower was last weekend at my cousin Peggy's house and was absolutely wonderful! We have washed all Chapman's clothes and blankets and are now just waiting on his arrival! We have his (Chapman's) bag packed and mine is half way packed (those of you that know me well, know I am a HUGE planner, so I have gotten everything I can done early)! We have his nursery completely finished and I will add a couple more pictures of it on this blog too! Jason and I decided to do Chapman's nursery a little different than most nurseries. We used neutral colors (with the blue) and left a bed in the nursery. We also went and took pictures of architectural pieces that resembled letters and spelled out his name (see below). We are REALLY pleased how this turned out. Baker's Framing and Art Supplies needs to get a special recognition for their part of the framing! :):)Well, I guess that is it for now. Hopefully we will get to meet our little one soon! We can't wait! Chapman's name (for some reason the walls look a different color in this picture, but they are really ivory! Baby Shower!
I wanted to share some pictures from one of my baby showers right before Christmas. This shower was at my sweet sister-in-law's, Blake, home. The shower was absolutely beautiful and the food and company were wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a more special day. A special thanks to all the hosts who put on the PERFECT shower! I only have a few pictures, but should be getting somemore and will add them when I get them! Hope you enjoy!

35 week update.....
Well, of course, I have been pretty bad about updating our blog! With Christmas and everything else going on this time of year, it has been hard for me to find time to write! Speaking of, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!!
All that said, I am now almost 35 weeks, leaving us only 5 weeks until Chapman's arrival. We are getting so excited and of course a little anxious too! I went to the doctor last Tuesday (Dec. 23rd) and Dr. Garrard said that everything was measuring right on Chapman's due date. He said, "You seem like you know exactly what you are doing!" I assured him that I have NO CLUE what I am doing, but I am so blessed to have Chapman growing and developing right on schedule! I have started to feel a little more pregnant (which I cannot complain about at all, since I have had such an easy pregnancy) and lots of sleep has again become a MUST! Chapman is also moving around a lot more and I am having some Braxton Hicks contractions. I have been having the contractions for about two weeks, but they are definitely happening more often the longer I progress. Usually, I will have one or two a day now. Dr. Garrard said as long as they are not within 10 minutes of each other, I am perfectly fine!
My plan is to work up until the day Chapman arrives. January is going to be very interesting with tax season beginning and hours of work needing to be added to a normal day, but I think I can do it! My wonderful firm will allow me to work at home as needed, so my schedule might be a little crazy (coming home early to take a nap and then get back to work, etc.), but it will be worth getting everything I can done before I take off for maternity leave!
My next doctor's appointment is on Monday, January 5th. From then on, I will go to the doctor every week!
Jason and I can't wait to meet Chapman and we appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. We have been blessed with a wonderful pregnancy and hopefully delivery will be just as good!

LOOK AT ALL MY PRESENTS.......
Chapman's first baby shower was today, December 5th, at the CPA firm where I work, Aldridge, Borden & Company. Of course, the individuals completely outdid themselves as usual. Jason and I are overwhelmed at the generosity of the people at my firm. Not only did we receive a TON of our large gift items, we also got everything from clothes and hooded towels to bath toys and a Bebe Pod. We cannot thank my firm enough for all they have done for Jason, Chapman, and me. Look at all the items we were given at our shower: Pack n' Play, Baby Einstein Jumper, Cradle In Comfort (or as Jason likes to call it, Chapman's recliner), Activity mat, Boppy, Frog bath toy scoop, Bebe Pod, Diaper Genie, Gund Teddy Bear that tells 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (that was from Mama and Daddy, or I guess that would be Grandmama and Granddaddy, and is actually for next year), Monogrammed onesies and two outfits, a Feltman Brother's bubble, a frog hooded towel, and a Target gift card. As I list these items, I again realize how wonderful the people are at Aldridge, Borden & Company. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful place to work and such generous people to be surrounded by. Enjoy the pictures below. Chapman is SO excited about all his new toys and clothes!!!!!!!

Chapman's Nursery!!!
We have finished Chapman's nursery and are SO excited about his arrival! I absolutely love how his nursery turned out (thanks Mama...she made all the bedding)! We have not finished hanging pictures on the wall or putting things on his shelves, but you can at least see most of the room! I took a lot of pictures, from every angle, so I hope you enjoy!
These are actually the ringbearer pillows from our wedding!!!
Update...
Well, I have not been the best at updating our Blog, but thanks to a good friend (Jessica), I have been reminded that I need to update it! As of this week. we have 10 weeks until Chapman is due! Jason and I are so excited and can't wait for his arrival. With Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's (like we will even make it until 12:00....we didn't last year and pregnancy was not an excuse) I am sure the next 10 weeks will fly by!
I went to the doctor two weeks ago and everything is still going great and Chapman is growing right on schedule. I will go back the 2nd week of December and then I will start going every two weeks. I am still feeling great, able to workout (at a good bit lower level), and working full-time. Tax season will begin for me mid-January and I am planning on working up until the day I have Chapman, as long as I continue to feel well! I realized last week that if Chapman is due on February 3rd (his due date), I will be able to take off exactly 6 weeks, to the day, before I go back for the end of tax season on March 17th. God is good and knows exactly what He is doing!!!! :):) I am planning to take 2 and a half weeks off after tax season from April 16th to May 3rd, which will give me a little more time at home with Chapman! My wonderful mom and mother-in-law are going to help take care of Chapman from March to April, while I am at work! Thank goodness for mothers and mother-in-laws!!!! :):) After that, my mom is going to keep Chapman until June when he will start ECDC (Early Childhood Development Center) at First United Methodist Church.
As far as Chapman goes, he is moving around more than ever! It is the most amazing feeling to feel your child's every move and turn. He is a lot more active than before and he is now not only kicking, but turning and moving from side to side too!
I will try to be a little better about updating our Blog!!! Below are some recent pictures before La Dames, a ball in Montgomery that we went to last weekend. They are a little better than the pictures of my belly! :):)
